For publishers

Built for different localization realities.

A first-time crowdfunding publisher and an established publisher with existing partners do not need the same thing. Locapublish separates those use cases instead of forcing them into one generic flow.

For indie & crowdfunding publishers

Find out if “Spanish please” is noise or a real market.

List a crowdfunding, upcoming, or published title and collect structured market signals before you commit resources.

  • Verify language demand before production locks in
  • Understand whether signals are casual comments or serious buyer intent
  • Create a clearer conversation with possible localization partners
  • Works alongside your Kickstarter, Gamefound or preorder campaign

For established publishers

Backlist titles, edge markets, reprint signals.

Locapublish is not built to replace established localization pipelines. It is built for the titles that fall outside them.

  • Surface demand for backlist and out-of-print titles
  • Detect reprint signals and regional buyer intent
  • Identify edge markets before formal partner discussions
  • No pipeline disruption — runs parallel to existing deals

What counts as a signal?

A signal is more than a click. Locapublish captures the information publishers and partners actually need before evaluating a localization, reprint or regional licensing route.

Requested language Spanish, German, French, Nordic languages or other market-specific requests.
Country or region Where the demand is coming from, not just which language is requested.
Buyer type Player, retailer, distributor or localization partner.
Purchase intent Whether the request is casual interest, likely purchase intent or partner-level demand.
Estimated quantity Useful for retailers, distributors and partners when relevant.
Preferred route Digital rulebook, language pack, reprint, licensing or full localized production.
Signals are not production promises

A signal is not a production promise.

Locapublish does not guarantee that a localized edition will be produced. A viable route depends on the title, MSRP, component count, MOQ, production method, territory, partner setup and timing.

The goal is not to force a yes. The goal is to help publishers see whether the demand is strong enough to investigate the next step.

What Locapublish does not promise.

We do not guarantee production A strong signal report does not mean a localized edition will be made. That decision rests entirely with the publisher.
We do not guarantee a specific route Whether the right path is a digital rulebook, a language pack, a partner deal or a full print run depends on many factors outside our control.
We do not sell your contact data Your email is used to verify your signal and reduce noise. It is never sold or shared with third parties without your consent.
We do not set the threshold Signal thresholds are indicative, not binding. Publishers evaluate demand in their own context. We provide the signal — not the verdict.
What publishers see

Your demand signals, structured and ready to act on.

How signals work

Thresholds are signals — not verdicts.

Locapublish uses indicative signal thresholds to help publishers evaluate demand. These numbers are not requirements. A title with 80 player signals and 3 partner interests may be more actionable than one with 500 casual comments and no partner engagement.

What we measure
  • Player signals: structured language interest from verified accounts
  • Retailer signals: preorder intent or stock requests from retailers or distributors
  • Partner interest: expressions of interest from localization partners or regional publishers
  • Preferred route: what kind of localization the signal-giver would accept
Who this is for

Built for indie and crowdfunding publishers.

Locapublish is designed for indie and crowdfunding tabletop game publishers who have already seen demand for localization in comment sections, BGG threads, or retailer conversations — but have no structured way to act on it. If you have a title with localization interest and need to know which languages, which routes, and whether the signal is real — this is for you.

Locapublish IS

  • A demand validation platform for tabletop localization
  • A signal aggregation and structuring service
  • A source of market intelligence for language edition decisions
  • A channel for localization partners to discover titles with verified demand
  • A paid audit service for publishers who want structured signal analysis
  • A tool that makes partner conversations concrete and data-backed
  • Built by people with direct tabletop industry experience

Locapublish IS NOT

  • A production guarantee — signals are not commitments
  • A localization agency — we do not translate, print or produce editions
  • A crowdfunding platform — we do not run campaigns
  • A marketplace where deals happen automatically
  • A tool that manufactures demand — we only structure what already exists
  • A replacement for publisher judgment — the production decision is always yours
  • A database of contacts for cold outreach — personal data is never sold
